General Description:
The Promotional Marketing Coordinator is a key position that is part of a fast-paced, fully capable Marketing Department. This position is responsible conceptualizing, planning and executing events that align with the company’s marketing strategy and business objectives. The Promotional Marketing Coordinator will be exposed to event planning, promotional campaigns, presentations and brand exposure. Position will interact with internal sales, marketing, technical service personnel as well as senior management and field representatives.
Principle Job Duties:
- Support company’s sales and marketing strategies in all Tnemec core markets through the development of presentations, promotional campaigns and training seminars.
- Coordinate logistics, manage timelines and ensure all event details are executed smoothly for company tradeshows, sales meetings and customer training sessions.
- Work directly with vendors to source event materials, secure venues, and coordinate services such as catering, staffing and entertainment.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that promote events across various channels (social media, email marketing, print, etc.)
- Responsible for enhancing brand exposure through promotional goods and apparel offerings including item selection, inventory control and distribution of materials.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Tnemec products, markets, customers, and sales techniques.
- Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination of incoming collateral requests, creation of product labeling in support of new product development as well as assist with the annual Tank of the Year contest.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required and with design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop) a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, Liberal Arts, or related program.
- Strong promotional and business writing, or graphic design and layout skills (examples of work strongly suggested).
- Limited travel within North America.
- 1-2 years previous experience preferred
